Established in Michoacán, Mexico, by the grandparents of the current owners, the company made a splash in the US market in 2017. La Michoacana NW’s ice cream shop was opened in Hillsboro, Oregon, and the rest is history. The company now has two ice-creams shops, and this number is expected to grow in the future as the popularity of La Michoacana NW’s products increases.
